The next solution is to manually resolve the issue. Please follow these steps in the right order:
Prerequisite: Please keep your ‘Multi-Factor Authentication’ or ‘MFA’ ready. This is required to complete the process.
- Open QuickBooks on your Mac.
- On the left menu look for the ‘Banking’ option and double click on it to open it.
- Now you need to click on the option that says ‘Update. You can find it at the top right of the screen.
- At this step, you might be asked to submit your ‘Multi-Factor Authentication’ aka ‘MFA’ details.
Please Note: You must enter the ‘Multi-Factor Authentication’ in the text bar within 2 minutes. Otherwise, you need to start the process all over again!
- After feeding the ‘Multi-Factor Authentication’ details, please click on ‘Continue Update.’
- Once the update is completed, you will be notified.
- If it is done successfully you will be able to view the last date on which you updated the QuickBooks.
- You will also notice that the total number of transactions will change after the update.
